Oriental Group Launches Poon Choi for this Chinese New Year

Oriental Group this year will be launching Poon Choi for its annual Chinese New Year Menu. The group aims to serve a brave new “normal” with original culinary creations helmet by its Group Executive Chef Yap Poh Weng – each 13 outlets of the Oriental Group will host a signature dish unique to their respective kitchens along side traditional classics.

This year, Oriental Group has introduced its original 4 flavors of premium Poon Choi to cater to take aways and home celebrations. By using the freshest and the highest quality ingredients – these celebratory pots are available in Traditional and Shunde recipes. The Poon Choi were also available at their Muslim Friendly restaurant; Ruyi & Lyn and Ruyi & Yu named Ruyi Poon Choi.

The Ruyi Poon Choi includes Eight Treasure Duck, Whole Abalone (8 Head), Sea Cucumber, Fish Maw, Dried Scallop, King Prawn, Dried Oyster, Shark’s Fin, Dace Fish Ball, Lotus Root, Chinese Cabbage, Yam, Broccoli, Bailing Mushroom, Fatt Choy and Fresh Beancurd Skin.
