Dim Sum is one of the common foods among the Chinese. Even foreigners love dim sums as it was delicious and like a hot hi-tea that is suitable to be eaten at any time of the day. But as the traditional Chinese Dim Sum would normally contain pork and was not available for our Muslim friends.
But now we could enjoy this special cuisine with our Muslim friends at Canton Boy. Canton Boy features Chinese cuisine; Freshly Hand-Made Cantonese Dim Sum and A must-try Chicken Rice in its restaurant. While we are shopping in MYTOWN, we visited Canton Boy for our weekend Dim Sum dinner.
After looking at the menu, we found out that they not only have the famous Hong Kong dim sums but they also offer Shanghainese special dim sums and local delicacies in the restaurant too. During our visit, we ordered; Roasted BBQ Chicken Bao, Sui Mai King, Steamed Chicken Feet, Green Shell Mussels with Garlic, Crystal Har Gow, Shang Hai Xiao Long Bao, Szechuan Spicy Wonton, Salt & Pepper Drummets, Signature Yam Croquette, Pan Fried Shanghai Dumpling, Stir Fried Radish Cake, Lemongrass Chicken Skewer, Honey Glazed BBQ Chicken Rice Roll, Seafood Fried Rice Salted Egg Lava Charcoal Bao and of course not forgetting its Signature Chicken Rice. We also ended our meal with their Nyonya’s dessert Cendol!
Come to our surprise that this restaurant had foods that are almost close to those we had in the non-halal dim sums. It tastes delicious in our opinion and it makes us keeps ordering for more. You will know what I mean 😉
