Halley at Mandarin Palace is an absolute gem that blends the rich history of the renowned restaurant with a delightful twist in its menu. From the moment you step inside, the grandeur interior adorned with meticulously crafted phoenix and dragon carvings sets the stage for a remarkable dining experience.

One of the standout features of Halley is its focus on offering classic and timeless pork-free Chinese hand-crafted dim sum and delicacies. It’s evident that the emphasis is on using the finest, seasonal, and locally sourced fresh produce, ensuring that every dish excites and satisfies discerning palates.

During our recent visit, we had the pleasure of indulging in their signature Halley’s Dim Sum Platter, a delightful assortment of flavors and textures. The Charcoal Crystal Shrimp Dumpling with truffle oils was a true showstopper, exuding a unique smoky aroma that perfectly complemented the succulent shrimp filling. The Shrimp & Scallop Dumpling was another delight, showcasing the mastery of dim sum making at Halley.

A surprising twist on tradition came in the form of Swan Taro Puff with Chilli Crab, a beautifully presented dish that blended creativity with taste. The Stir Fried Radish Cake with Spicy Seafood Sauce & Dried Shrimp was a tantalizing explosion of flavors, leaving us craving for more. The Steamed Shrimp & Chives Chee Cheong Fun showcased the expertise of the chefs, with its delicate rice rolls and perfectly seasoned filling.

We couldn’t resist trying more from the steam section, so we ordered the Steamed Glutinous Rice with Chicken & Mushroom. It was a delightful combination of tender chicken and flavorful mushrooms enveloped in sticky, aromatic glutinous rice, making it a must-try for any rice lover.

For those looking for heartier options, the Deep Fried Crispy Boneless Chicken with Thousand Island and Szechuan Mapo Silken Tofu served with white rice hit the spot. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the silky smooth tofu was complemented perfectly by the delectable sauces.

Throughout our dining experience, we were impressed by the attentive and friendly staff who made sure our needs were met. It’s evident that Halley at Mandarin Palace values its customers and strives to create a memorable dining ambiance.

In conclusion, Halley at Mandarin Palace is a culinary treasure that gracefully combines tradition with innovation. Whether you’re a dim sum enthusiast or a lover of Chinese delicacies, this restaurant is a must-visit. With its exquisite interior, sumptuous dishes, and premium tea selection, every corner is indeed Instagram-worthy.
