“We’re proud to be the first LG subsidiary to fully implement this transformative subscription model,” said Mr Justin Choi, Managing Director of LG Electronics Malaysia. “This shift reflects our commitment to making premium, intelligent technology more accessible to Malaysians – without the burden of ownership.”
The LG Subscribe programme offers a smart, flexible alternative to traditional purchases by giving consumers access to 10 premium home appliances with long-term maintenance and smart home integration via LG ThinQ. Products under the subscription include LG’s PuriCare™ water purifiers, CordZero vacuum systems, ArtCool air conditioners, and the WashTower laundry solution. The model is particularly popular among young families and working professionals who value affordability and convenience without sacrificing quality.
“I believe this new approach helps more Malaysians enjoy the best of LG technology,” said Lee Zii Jia during the launch. “As an athlete, I know how important it is to constantly evolve – and this model is a game changer in terms of flexibility and smart living.”

Further elevating the announcement, LG also introduced the LG PuriCare™ ATOM-U Water Purifier, a new undersink model that blends minimalist design with powerful filtration. Tailored for modern urban homes, the ATOM-U not only delivers clean, purified water but also enhances kitchen aesthetics with its space-saving design.
“LG Subscribe and the ATOM-U together represent our wider mission – to not just innovate products, but also reimagine how Malaysians access and experience them,” said Mr Choi.
As LG continues to roll out its Future Vision 2030 roadmap – aiming to become a Smart Life Solution Company – Malaysians can expect more smart, customer-centric innovations that go beyond appliances to transform everyday living.
