Building on its global Boring Phone campaign, Heineken® highlights the joy of “disconnecting to reconnect,” encouraging face-to-face interactions over digital distractions. This festive season, Heineken® Malaysia brings the message to life with the *Celebrate Boring* campaign, launching on November 18th.

Heineken® 404 Boring Meme Challenge
Starting December 6th, Malaysians can join the fun by reposting Heineken®’s *404 Boring Meme* on Instagram Stories, tagging @HeinekenMY, for a chance to win exclusive passes to the highly anticipated Heineken® Boring Social Parties.

Exclusive Boring Social Parties
Curated with Saturday Selects and Motherchuckers, these phone-free parties promise unforgettable experiences filled with live activities, great vibes, and refreshing Heineken®. Guests will lock away their phones and connect authentically during Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Phones Off, Night On Activations
From December 2024 to January 2025, pubs and bars nationwide will feature Heineken® Phone Lockers, allowing patrons to trade their phones for quality facetime – and a refreshing Heineken®.

Win the Heineken® Boring Phone

Fans can also win the exclusive Heineken® Boring Phone, designed with Boston-based Bodega. Stripped of social media and HD cameras, this minimalist device focuses solely on calls and texts, reinforcing the “less is more” ethos.

To participate, purchase a set or bucket of Heineken® or two cans of Heineken® 0.0 at participating outlets and enter the contest for a chance to own this unique phone.
