This year, Dorsett Grand Subang has redefined festive celebrations with a creative and eco-conscious masterpiece. A spiral Christmas tree, crafted entirely from 18 discarded plywood pieces, now stands as a testament to the hotel’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.

The Engineering team at Dorsett Grand Subang transformed what was once considered waste into an awe-inspiring centerpiece. Over two months, they meticulously cut and shaped 18 plywood pieces into 216 strips, forming a spiral tree that beautifully symbolizes teamwork and ingenuity.

“Each strip represents our commitment to sustainability and innovation,” said Datin Christina Toh, Area General Manager. “This tree tells a story of seeing potential where others see waste.”

Beyond aesthetics, the tree highlights the hotel’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, showcasing how creative reuse can lead to stunning results while promoting environmental responsibility.

Festive Decorations with a Purpose

Complementing the spiral tree, interns at Dorsett Grand Subang have crafted charming ornaments from recycled materials, adorning the lobby with a touch of creativity and eco-consciousness.

Terazza Brasserie at Dorsett Grand Subang invites guests to immerse themselves in the warmth of the holiday season with its Twinkling Lights Buffet Dinner, a meticulously curated culinary experience designed to enchant diners on Christmas Eve. Priced at RM208 nett per adult, RM188 nett for senior citizens (60 years & above), and RM104 nett per child (6-12 years old), this festive spread promises a delightful journey through flavors that celebrate the season.
