The Fortunes of Chinatown at Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown

Chinese New Year is a time to reconnect with family and loved ones and to share precious moments together.

Inspired by the local area and flavors of Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown, Executive Chef Gerald Chong from Quan’s Kitchen in Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown, and his culinary team unveil its Lunar New Year menu that emphasizes the traditional street fare and local favorites for this Chinese New Year.

To start off with the Chinese New Year meal, dinners could perform the toss of prosperity with Quan’s Kitchen Prosperity Golden Yee Sang; featuring Panko Prawn Chicken Floss, Passion Fruit Pearls, Aroma Truffle Chips, Kelulut Honey & Preserved Lemon Sauce which is priced at RM98+ (half portion for 5 persons) and RM188+ (full portion for 10 persons).

For a more luxurious bite, diners could also add on Braised Australian Abalone (10 heads) at RM288+.

The Chinese New Year Dinner could be followed by the Chinese New Year Fortune Buffet that includes the Prosperity Golden Yee Sang, “Bak Kwa” Roasted Chicken, Kam Heong Roasted Lamb Leg, and Steamed Nian Gao with Desiccated Coconut.

The Weekday Buffet Dinner (from 9th to 20th Jan) is priced at RM 108+ per pax while the Weekend Buffet Dinner (from 14-15 Jan) is priced at RM 138+ per pax. The Chinese New Year’s Eve Dinner and Chinese New Year Day 1 and Day 2 (from 22-23 Jan) are priced at RM 158+ per pax.

All Chinese New Year Buffet Lunch will be served from 12.30PM to 3PM and Dinner is between 6.30PM to 10.30PM. For those aged 60 and above, and children between 6 to 12 years old enjoy 50% off the normal price.

Chinese also had a ritual to send gifts to friends and families as wishes of good fortune to their loved ones. With this in mind, Lady Yi’s Tea House had specially curated an auspicious For-tu兔-ne Hamper for its guest to purchase. The For-tu兔-ne Hamper; contains Lady Yi’s Signature ‘11 Treasures’ Tea and 8 sweet blessings such as Pineapple Tart, Shitake Mushroom, Wintermelon Candy, Dessert, Fortune Cookies, Cashew Cookies, Dried Black Fungus and Black Sesame Cookie at RM388+ per set. Available for purchase from 9th Jan to 5th Feb. Early birds enjoy 33% off until 16th Jan.

For those who loved afternoon tea, you guys would not be left out too. Lady Yi’s Tea House had an exclusive Prosperi-Tea Afternoon Tea that enables diners to indulge in delicious savories such as Nian Gao Croquette, Tea-Smoked Duck, Chicken Bak Kwa, Prawn & Scallop Toast, and Szechuan Smoked Salmon while sipping on a cup of tea and for that sweet treat, nibble on desserts such as Polo Choux Bun, Chocolate Tart, Pandan Eclairs, Coconut Dome, Hazelnut Oolong Tea, Praline, and Preserved Mandarin Peel & Plain Scones.
