We had been knowing Vouge Magazine since its first issue more than 125 years ago. It is an internationally known magazine that shares the latest fashion news, beauty coverage, celebrity style, fashion week updates, and culture reviews.

In line with their business diversification, Vogue Magazine had expanded into culinary cuisines. They had their appearance in Istanbul, Beijing, Shangai, Porto, and Riyadh as Vogue Cafe and now they had opened up their first Vouge Lounge in Malaysia.
We had gotten a chance to pay a visit to this exclusive lounge earlier this week and what we can say is; it doesn’t disappoint us. After getting the lift to the lounge, we were first been greeted by a futuristic walkway that leads us to its lounge. The lounge was beautifully decorated with a romantic scene which makes the dining more pleasant and romantic. Especially with its big window overseeing the KL City Skyline.
While we were there, we could not resist trying out its chef’s signature dishes. Since Chinese New Year is just around the corner, we discovered that the Vogue Lounge had come out with a set for this seasonal celebration. In their menu, we have started with Vogue’s Golden Yee Sang (assorted vegetables, salmon sashimi, Soft Shell Crab. Golden Leaf with Plum Sauce. The diner may also have the option to opt for Duck Pao (Braised Duck Pao with Lemon Sauce, Pickled Papaya, and Cucumber) too.
We then move into its main course; Golden Fortune Pot (Braised Abalone served with Seared Scallops, Shitake mushrooms, Steam Snapper and Sesame Rice. Diners may also opt for Braised Char Siew Ribs (Braised Beef Short Ribs served with Lemon Sauce, Pickled Papaya, and Cucumber if rice is not something they prefer. We ended the Chinese New Year Meal set with The Mandarin dessert (Orange Poppy Seed paired with Smoke Tea Orange, Mapel Gelato, Candies Orange, and Chia Seed).

Besides the Chinese New Year menu, we also did not forget to try out some of their ala-carte dishes from menus such as Karaage (Popcorn Chicken), Chicken Yakitori (Marinated Chicken Skewer), Wagyu Skewers (Grilled Wagyu), Truffle Fries, Nashville Fried Chicken and of course another few desserts; its Golden Fritter, Apple Struder and Pretzel.

Overall, the foods were great, and paired with such a beautiful and romantic environment, this is the place that you should bring your loved ones over at least once in a while.
