Last week, we at eRayn3 has decided to step out of our home trying to get a short stay cation nearby to our home. Since we have been living here for so long and there were so much places that we had not explore, we have got our self checked into one of the hotel near the Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle area; Hilton Garden Inn South Hotel.
Kuala Lumpur Golden Triangle is known as Kuala Lumpur’s commercial, shopping and entertainment hub, the Golden Triangle is actually a large area that encompasses a number of major streets. Three roads – Jalan Imbi, Jalan Sultan Ismail and Jalan Raja Chulan form a triangle which borders the entire Golden Triangle area. Here, towering scrapers, shopping malls and world-class hotels pierce the landscape.
Bukit Bintang Street is located within this area, and is a famous shopping and entertainment district. Besides the wide variety of shops and outlets along the roads, there are a few popular shopping malls across each other that include Low Yat Plaza, Sungai Wang Plaza, Lot 10 and Times Square. This is the place for fashion merchandise and accessories, IT products, designer brands and electronic goods. At night, the street turns into a walk where you can wine and dine al-fresco in modern cafes and restaurants.
Hilton Garden Inn South is one of the affordable hotels in that area and what’s makes it so special was it’s Rooftop 25 Bar and Lounge! Upon the recommendation from the waitress, we have ordered its Fried Vegetables Popiah, Ceasar Salad as a Started and Pan Fried Seared Salmon Asian Glazed with Rice and Aromatic Ayam Bakar with Rice and Ulam as the mains.
It’s rooms were decently sized and has all the amenities that we will normally needs in a room such as complementary water, beverages bar, mini fridge, safe box, toiletries , iron, iron board, hair dryer and the most important one Wifi.
Breakfast is served in its Grielle Restaurant which is located at first floor. To comply to the new norm, they will not be serving a buffet spread instead, they are offering 3 types of breakfast set (*unlimited ordering) for its guest. Guest who are would prefer to dine in their room could also do so by ordering you breakfast meal in advance from the receptionist counter.
P/s: To comply with the Goverment SOPs all guest and diners have to register, scan and disinfect their hands before entering into the hotel receptions. They were also another round of registering and temperature checked before entering into to the Rooftop 25 Bar and Lounge too. We have realized that all rooms has been cleaned and disinfected before the next guest enters into to room too.
