Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ Review (with Book Cover Keyboard)

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ is a standout entry in Samsung’s lineup of Android tablets, offering a practical balance between power, portability, and productivity. Targeted at students, young professionals, and creatives, it packs a solid performance suite, smart AI features, and bundled accessories that make it feel more like a full productivity machine than just a media tablet.

Design & Durability

At just 6.0mm thin and weighing 664g, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ feels exceptionally sleek in the hands. The aluminum frame and matte finish back give it a premium texture that resists fingerprints and provides a solid grip. It’s one of the few tablets at this price point that comes with IP68 water and dust resistance—a huge plus for those who carry their tablet outdoors or near the kitchen, café, or poolside.

We used the tablet during a weekend trip and even accidentally spilled water on it while cooking. After a quick wipe, it continued functioning perfectly with no visible display or port issues. The build feels tough enough to slide in and out of a backpack without a case.

Display Quality

The 13.1-inch WQXGA (1800 x 2880) IPS LCD display may not be AMOLED, but it holds its own with crisp detail, great brightness, and good color accuracy. With a 90Hz refresh rate, transitions and scrolling are fluid. Samsung’s color calibration ensures that even LCD panels look vibrant.

We watched several 4K YouTube videos and streamed Newtopia Series on Netflix. The colors were rich, and I rarely missed the AMOLED contrast except in very dark scenes. The screen hit around 600 nits at peak brightness in my testing, which is usable under bright daylight, though a bit reflective. We also did a full hour of sketching in PenUp—pressure sensitivity and input response were smooth throughout.

Performance & Software

Powered by the 4nm Exynos 1480 processor and Xclipse 530 GPU (based on AMD RDNA architecture), the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ holds up impressively under pressure. It’s backed by 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD.

In our real usage, this translated to smooth performance when juggling apps like Canva, Samsung DeX, and Microsoft Office. Genshin Impact was playable at medium settings. It never got uncomfortably warm, even during 90-minute gaming or DeX productivity sessions.

S Pen Experience

The included S Pen remains one of Samsung’s biggest tablet strengths. With low latency and palm rejection, it makes note-taking, drawing, and annotation a breeze. On OneNote and Samsung Notes, writing felt natural, like pen on paper.

We used it extensively for planning a project pitch and diagramming flowcharts. The Note Assist AI helped summarize long notes into key points, and Math Solver accurately broke down multiple-step algebra problems I fed into it for tutoring purposes.

Book Cover Keyboard

Bundled with the tablet (for a limited time in Malaysia), the Book Cover Keyboard magnetically attaches and transforms the Tab S10 FE+ into a near-laptop experience. It supports Samsung DeX, which turns the interface into a desktop-like mode with resizable windows and multi-app layouts.

We drafted this very review using the Book Cover Keyboard in DeX mode on a café table. Typing felt fast and fluid, with good key travel. It was comfortable enough for 3+ hours of editing in Google Docs. Unlike third-party Bluetooth keyboards, the response latency was near zero.

Battery Life & Charging

Inside is a 10,090mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. While no charger is in the box, a compatible fast charger filled the tablet from 10% to 100% in 1 hour 40 minutes.

With a full charge, we got about 11 hours and 15 minutes of real-world mixed usage (including 2 hours of YouTube, 3 hours of writing with DeX, 1.5 hours of gaming, and background Spotify + occasional browsing). In power-saving mode, we easily stretched it over two full days.

Camera & Audio

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ is equipped with a 13MP rear camera (with 4K 30fps video) and an ultrawide 12MP front-facing camera, ideal for online meetings and group video calls. Quad speakers tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos support round out the multimedia experience.

Our Zoom Meeting calls looked sharp and sounded crisp, even in noisy environments. The auto-framing worked reasonably well in landscape orientation. Audio performance was excellent—we compared sound to an iPad Air (2022), and the Tab S10 FE+ had noticeably fuller mids and better stereo separation when watching trailers.

Connectivity & Features

With 5G and Wi-Fi 5G (Sub-6) support, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and USB-C 2.0, it ticks every modern connectivity box. The S10 FE+ is also compatible with Samsung’s ecosystem—easy syncing with Galaxy Buds, SmartThings, and Galaxy smartphones for continuity and shared clipboard.

We synced this tablet with my Galaxy Buds2 Pro and S24 Ultra for seamless file transfers and phone call handoffs using Samsung Flow. Everything worked without a hiccup.

After more than a week of testing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ has earned its place as one of the best value-for-money tablets in 2025. The included S Pen and Book Cover Keyboard elevate it from a media consumption device to a full productivity and creativity machine. Whether you’re note-taking, sketching, working on documents, or just watching K-dramas, this tablet handles it all gracefully.

Malaysian Launch & Promotion

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ was officially launched in Malaysia on 8 May 2025, priced at RM2,799 (Wi-Fi) and RM3,299 (5G), with 12GB + 256GB as standard. The launch bundle (valid until 15 June) includes a free Book Cover Keyboard worth RM499 and a RM200 instant rebate with trade-in, making it a highly competitive deal.
