Living in a city was stressful, especially when we are being overwhelmed with work and study. Releasing our stress is something that we need to constantly do in order to have more balance in mental and spiritual health.
Getting into some leisure activities and back to nature would be something that could help us to ease our stress in life. Located in the center of Bandar Utama (between Avante Hotel and Shell Station), Farm Steamboat has recently been opened to help busy working adults and stressful kids to release their stress through fishing and farming activities while enjoying the organic vegetables and fish that have been grown organically in the farm.
Basically, all of their ingredients had been grown and made on the farm. Which makes it a more fresh and healthier steamboat for its diners. If you just wanted to try out its organic steamboat like us, you could also walk in and ordered its steamboat too like us :p
After we had got to know about this place, we paid a visit to this place to try out its Farm Steamboat. There were 5 options (Herbal Chicken, Tomato Soup, Mushroom Soup, Tomyam Soup, and Superior Fish Soup) for its broth. We had got its Tum Yum and Herbal Chicken Soup broth and as for ingredients, we had ordered Live Tiger Prawns, Fish Paste, Handmade Wanton (Fish and Prawn), Chicken & Mushroom Dumplings, Ladies Fingers with Fish Paste, Ring Roll, Shimeiji Mushroom, Stuffed Fu Chuk, Lotus Root, and own hand-picked vegetables.
Besides the steamboat ingredients, we also ordered some hot food to go with the steamboat too such as; Sweet and Sour Tilapia and Steamed Red Tai Patin with Superior Soy Sauce.
To end the meal, dinners could check out their signature cendol too. It looks delicious but we are too full hence we are unable to try it out. But when you are there you could consider trying it out and let us know your thoughts.
What we could say was; the vegetables and fish we super fresh since it was caught immediately before cooking and the broth taste great too. You could definitely taste its fresh sweetness in their broth after cooking the steamboat ingredients in the broth.
