As a Malaysian, we are pampered with many types of foods from various cultures. One of our all time favourite is Indian cuisines.

No matter you are a Malay, Chinese, Indians or even Iban or Kadazan, we always takes Indian food in our daily lives. It’s one of our comfort foods. Realizing this, one of the local entrepreneurs has taken an opportunity to offer much more than roti canai, mamak mee goreng or even banana leaves at Namaste India Restaurant.

With a family members who is residing in India, they have decided to bring a little piece of India back to their home; Malaysia through the India’s cuisines. It’s menu reveals the authenticity of northern Indian dishes by remarkable chefs from India with a little local and fusion twist.

Among some of their signature dishes in Namaste were; Tandoor Non Vege Platter (assorte non-veg platter consisting of chicken tikka, mutton boti kebab, awadhi chicken seskh & mustard fish tikka served with mini stuffed kulcha & dal makhani), owner’s special recipe’s Chilli Prawn, Dum Briyiani Chicken (tender pieces of chicken dum cooked in flavourful basimati rice and mixed with mint yoghurt stock and strands of safron served with special raita), Cheese and Butter Naan and Butter Chicken (its specially marinated chicken pieces tandoor grilled and further cooked in rich tomato gravy with cream & butter enhanced with fenugreek leaves). As for beverages, there were some signature drinks such as Manggo Lassi, Gula Melaka Lassi, Mint Lime and Lime Juice.
