After receiving overwhelming support from Klang Valley’s consumers, Lulu Hypermarket has opened up its new outlet in Setia Eco Mall in Semenyih yesterday. The Opening had been officiated by YB Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi, Minister of Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs officially inaugurated the supermarket and department store in the presence of Nishad PA, Director of LuLu Group Malaysia & Indonesia; Asif MA, Regional Director of LuLu Malaysia; and other dignitaries and businessmen.

The new shopping destination, which is strategically located at Setia Ecohill Mall in the Kajang-Semenyih growth corridor, is easily accessible via the Cheras-Kajang Expressway, SKVE (through SILK Highway), and LEKAS. It has a total area of around 36, 000 sq. ft. The new store has been designed using the latest retail space concepts and most modern technology for ease of shopping and will serve the 600,000 population in Semenyih and its nearby areas for their daily shopping needs.
With a supermarket on Level 1 and a department store on Level 2, the store has dedicated sections for groceries, dairy products, fish and seafood, fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, dry goods, fashion garments, electronics, IT, stationery, sports, footwear, luggage, among others. A campaign in association with KPDNHEP to educate and raise public awareness of the quality of local products, highlight SME products, and boost small and medium enterprises (SMEs), especially those who got affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.YB Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi, Minister of Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs along with LuLu officials had launched the campaign in Lulu Hypermarket too during his visit yesterday.
