As the Rabbit year is approaching, it’s also time for us to organize a get-together with our friends’ families. While hopping into the year of Rabbit, we could wish our friends and family members longevity, peace, and prosperity in the year ahead with a great hangout with great foods that everyone loves.

This year, The Westin Kuala Lumpur is organizing something different for its diners. With the help of its Chinese Sous Chef, Steven Swee, and its team. Understanding that not everyone likes the same dishes, The Westin Kuala Lumpur will be offering a Chinese New Year Buffet in its Living Room instead; offering a mix of traditional and modern signature creations including a fresh Yee Sang – Fresh Salmon, Abalone, Jelly Fish and Vegetarian (available for take away and Dine-In from 3 January 2023 -5 February 2023) to welcome the Rabbit year.
Diners would be able to experience an extensive festive buffet delight spread featuring Chef Steven’s signature ranging from Smoked Duck Slice with Peanut Sauce, Marinated Black Fungus in Szechuan style, Chilled Chicken Roll with Jelly Rish Salad, Eight Treasure Winter Melon Soup, Deep Fried Golden Perch with Jiang Zheng Sauce, Braised Hong Kong Noodle with Seafood, Roasted Chicken with Tang Gui, Chilled Golden Fish Lotus Paste and Deep Fried Sesame Ball with Golden Cake and many more.
The MUST TRY dishes in the buffet spread was Braised Whole Duck in Shanghai Style, Chinese Rice Cake with Cheese and Condiments, Steamed Seabass Fillet, and Steamed Red Snapper Fillet.



























The Westin Kuala Lumpur’s New Year’s Eve Buffet (for 21st January 2023) was priced at RM 188 nett per adult (for lunch) and RM 208 nett per adult (for dinner) while it’s Chinese New Year Day 1 Buffet (22nd January 2023) was priced at RM 208 nett per adult (for lunch and dinner respectively).
** All buffets will be complimented with a free flow of draught beer and specialty cocktails too.

Chef Steven’s also offered a special takeaway menu, 6-Course Happiness Reunion set menu, and festive hamper in Tiffin concept too (available from 3 January 2023 to 5 February 2023 from 12 pm-3 pm and 6 pm-9:30 pm); offering a Festive Yee Sang, Double Boiled Soup with Abalone, Baked Phyllo Salmon with Cream Mushroom Sauce, Steamed Village Chicken with Fried Garlic, Black Gold Brushed Fried Rice with Shrimp and Chilled Chrysanthemum Jelly. This set menu also comes with one complimentary bottle of Red or White house wine priced at RM 688 per table for 4 people.
