If you are a Yakiniku fan, you are in luck. If you do not know what is Yakiniku, here is a short explanation for it. Yakiniku means “grilled meat”, and is a Japanese term that, in its broadest sense, refers to grilled meat cuisine, vegetables on gridirons or griddles over a flame of wood charcoals carbonized by dry distillation or a gas/electric grill. It is one of the most popular dishes in Japan.
Recently we discovered a hidden Yakiniku gem in Encorp Strand Garden Office, Kota Damansara named Niyama Yakiniku. Niyama Yakiniku is a modern Japanese BBQ restaurant that offers juicy fresh cuts at an affordable price.
As many of us were still vary about the Covid19 viruses but still wanted to catch up or have a gathering with friends and families, Niyama Yakiniku would be the one to go for as they had an open-air restaurant where you could sit down at an open-air space.
During our visit, we started our meal with its Chuka Wakame (Seasoned Seaweed), Chuka Karage (Seasoned Squid), Adagashi (Japanese Fried Tofu in Light Broth), Tamago and Chawanmushi followed by its Signature Garlic Fried Rice.
For our Yakiniku, we have ordered a plate of Pork Belly (complimentary from Niyama Yakiniku), Smoke Duck (tender and juicy), Tiger Prawns (super fresh), Squid, Oysters (must order this super delicious), Saba Fish, Eggplant, Leeks, Red & Greencoral Lettuce (for Warps), Chicken Breast, Beef Tongue (surprisingly delicious) and Beef Tenderloin.
Of course not forget about our all-time favorite Yakitori skewers; Thigh, Beef Striploin Leek, Quil Eggs, Jinko, Wagyu, Salmon (with sauce), Momo Teriyaki Sauce, Erigi Mushrooms, and Shittakeh Mushrooms too.
Each of its guests will be given 3 sauces together with a bowl of kimchi to go with the food too.
