This Ramadan, Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur invites diners to take up a trip down to memory lane with a feast curated by Malaysian’s favourite culinary celebrity, Chef Dato’s Farley Ya’acob.
Starting from 24th April to 23rd May 2020, Sajian Merentasi Zaman (food across generations) featuring Chef’s childhood days cuisines will be offered in Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur’s during that period of time to create an opportunity for the whole family to reconnect and reminisce the good olden days that they had spent together.
Chef Dato’ Farley has recreated Malaysian dishes that have been lost in the mist of time and are rarely found in nowadays such as Nasi Tumpang Alam Bakar Pasu (rice layered with different dishes, served on banana leaves), Puyuh Salai & Kulit Rambai (smoked pigeon with Rambai)) and Urap Daun Kaduk & Telur Mason (kaduk leaves & salted egg). Each dish is prepared using healthy cooking techniques, so diners can forget about counting calories.
Diners could end the meal on a sweet note with an array of desserts, including crowd-pleasers like Serabai with Gula Melaka (local pancakes with palm sugar syrup), Pena Uji Katu & Pisang (tapioca and banana) and Lempeng Kerala (coconut crepes).
