DeMala Hotpot, a Muslim-friendly Sichuan Mala Hotpot which is located in One Utama had been rebranded as Wha Rong. We at eRayn3.com this time have paid another visit to its new Wha Rong restaurant to check out what’s a new offering in their new menu.
After looking at the menu, we realized that besides its all-time favorite hotpot menu, they also had added Mee Tarik series which ranges from Mee Tarik Chicken Soup, Braised Beef Mee Tarik, Mala Mee Tarik, Dry Mee Tarik, Fried Mee Tarik and Mee Tarik in Tomato Soup. Besides that, Wha Rong also has added Braised Beef Rice, Fried Rice, Hot & Sour Soup, Chicken Dumpling Soup, Red Oil Wanton, Pan Fried Chicken Bun, and many more.
Based on the restaurant manager’s recommendation, we ordered Mee Tarik with Crispy Chicken Chop in Chicken Collagen Soup, Spicy Dry mee Tarik with Red Oil Wanton, Braised Beef Rice, Hot & Sour Soup, Chicken Dumpling Soup, Red Oil Wanton, Pan Fried Chicken Bun and of course not forgetting about its Mala Hotpot set for 4 person which includes Tiger Prawns, Toman Fish Slice, Lamb Slice, Spicy Chicken Slice, Premium Prawn Paste, Premium Prawn Paste, Premium Fishball, Vege Fishabll Taupok, Snow Crabstick, White Silky Taufoo, Fish & soy Beancurd, Organic Vege Basket, Cocktail Sausage and Ring Roll. As for the soup we selected Si Chuan Mala Soup and Chicken Collagen Bone Broth.

Comes to our surprise the mala hotpot did not disappoint us since the first time we came. As for the new mee tarik, we fell in love with it on the first bite. We would especially also highlight the Pan Fried Chicken Bun which we love too.
