A Romantic Rendezvous at Sunset Terrace
Celebrate the significant annual season of love at Sunset Terrace, Sunway Resort Hotel’s brand-new swanky poolside restaurant located on level 1. Against a beautiful backdrop of the resort’s waterfall and large freeform pool, couples will be treated to Chef De Cuisine Afham Afiq’s 5-course menu under the starry night sky.
To begin celebrations for the evening, diners will enjoy some of Chef’s specialties which includes the amuse-bouche of pâte sablée with caviar, crème fraiche and quail egg, and smoked salmon, green pea purée and garden cress, followed by his homemade focaccia and grissini. For appetiser, couples will indulge in the burrata served with marinated root vegetable salad, fennel, compressed cucumber and basil pesto followed by crab chowder soup with highland sweet corn, peas and potato in a creamy crab broth. Guest can choose their mains from a selection of either the oven-baked miso-glazed cod fish served with anchovy tuile, baby spinach and artichoke purée or the mushroom-rubbed wagyu steak served with potato pavé, sautéed medley of vegetables and truffle sauce. To end the romantic evening, guest will be in for a treat with our Chef’s live plated dessert which includes white chocolate sphere, chocolate fudge, fruit coulis, fresh berries, cookie crumbs and vanilla ice cream.

An Exquisite Valentine’s at Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill
Rediscover romance at 2023’s best new restaurant, voted by Tatler Dining Malaysia – Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill. Couples will enjoy a specially-created menu featuring an exquisite 5-course set menu, using only the freshest ingredients that the season has to offer.
Upon arrival, canapés will be served followed by amuse-bouche which includes oysters, caviar and lemon balm. Ladies will receive the Roses Are Red cocktail, a sweet and sour concoction, with a surprise element where a rose will be revealed after setting its casing on flames. For starters, couples have a choice of the butter-poached lobster served with caviar, hearts of palm purée, fennel gremolata and pickled kumquat or the signature aged beef tartare with egg yolk confit, gherkin gel and game chips. For the mains, a choice between the Atlantic cod with XO sauce, chicken skin, salmon roe, finger lime and herb salad or the classic beef wellington served with pomme purée, red wine jus and fine salad. For sides, there are the grilled asparagus served with a smoked emulsion, toasted seeds, edamame, leek ash and heritage carrots served with a saffron vinaigrette and smoked ricotta. Conclude the evening with passion fruit soufflé accompanied by coconut sorbet or the decadent 64% Manjari chocolate tart served with yoghurt sorbet and extra virgin olive oil. Guests can adjourn to the bar or the lounge thereafter for a selection of cheese which can be accompanied by a bottle of fine wine from the cellar, upon request.
