A Feast to Remember: Dish by Dish
Our group, eager to explore the diverse menu, ordered an array of dishes that highlighted the versatility and richness of Thai cuisine. We began with the Miengkam Scallops, which were fresh and succulent, beautifully complemented by traditional Miengkam toppings like roasted coconut, peanuts, lime, and chili, creating a harmonious explosion of flavors with every bite. The Thai Fish Cakes were delightfully chewy with a perfect blend of spices, served with a tangy dipping sauce that balanced texture and taste beautifully. The Thai Mango Salad with Catfish offered a refreshing combination of shredded green mango and crispy catfish, a symphony of tangy, sweet, and savory notes with the catfish adding a satisfying crunch.

The Pamelo Seafood Salad was another vibrant dish, featuring juicy pomelo segments mixed with a medley of fresh seafood, creating a refreshing and light dish. The Green Curry Crab with Mee Hoon and Fried Kangkung was a rich and aromatic delight, with creamy, perfectly spiced curry and tender crab paired with mee hoon and crispy fried kangkung. The King Prawn Petai with Belacan Sauce combined bold flavors with king prawns and petai beans cooked in a pungent and flavorful belacan sauce, ideal for those who enjoy strong, umami flavors.

For a richer flavor, the Soft Shell Crab with Yellow Egg Curry Sauce was cooked to perfection, enveloped in a creamy yellow egg curry sauce, offering a delightful blend of textures and flavors. The Seabass Steamed with Lime Chili was incredibly fresh and steamed to perfection, with a zesty and spicy lime chili sauce enhancing the delicate flavor of the fish. The Asparagus Scallops featured tender asparagus and perfectly seared scallops, lightly seasoned to let the natural flavors shine in a simple yet elegant dish.

The Chicken Pandan was fragrant and juicy, wrapped in pandan leaves that imparted a unique aroma and flavor. The King Prawn Tom Yum in Coconut stood out as an absolute favorite, with its spicy and sour tom yum broth served in a coconut, featuring robust and sweet king prawns. Contarary, the King Prawn Tom Yum Clear in Coconut stood out as an absolute favorite. The clear tom yum broth was a masterful blend of tangy and spicy, aromatic with the fresh scents of lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and galangal. The soup was served in a coconut, adding a subtle sweetness and an exotic presentation that elevated the dining experience.

The Pad Thai with King Prawn was a classic rendition, with perfectly cooked noodles, crunchy peanuts, and succulent king prawns, providing a comforting and familiar dish done exceptionally well. The Roasted Duck with Coffee Sauce was intriguing and well-executed, with tender duck and a unique coffee sauce that added subtle bitterness and depth. For a slight departure from traditional Thai flavors, the Angus Striploin with Red Wine Sauce offered a beautifully cooked striploin paired with a rich red wine sauce, luxurious and satisfying.

The Pineapple Fried Rice was another highlight, served in a hollowed-out pineapple that not only added a visual appeal but also infused the rice with a sweet, tangy flavor. The rice was perfectly cooked, mixed with chunks of juicy pineapple, cashews, raisins, and vegetables, creating a delightful blend of sweet and savory tastes that made it a crowd favorite.
A Sweet Conclusion
We concluded our meal with the delightful Mango Sticky Rice, featuring perfectly cooked sticky rice and sweet, juicy mango slices, making for a classic Thai dessert that did not disappoint. The Red Ruby Water Chestnuts offered a refreshing end, with crunchy water chestnuts encased in a sweet coating, served in a chilled coconut milk soup, providing a perfect balance to the rich flavors of our meal.
