2024 GAC GS3 EMZOOM: Bold New Design and Advanced Features Define the Latest CKD Line-up in MalaysiaWTC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd (WTCA), a subsidiary of Warisan TC Holdings Bhd, has expanded its 2024 GAC GS3 EMZOOM line-up in Malaysia with two new locally-assembled variants, further growing the GAC Malaysia family. Joining the existing range-topping GS3 EMZOOM Premium R are the new GS3 EMZOOM Standard and GS3 EMZOOM Exclusive variants. This marks the completion of WTCA’s localisation project for the B-segment SUV, which was initially introduced as a fully imported (CBU) model in April 2024.
The 2024 GAC GS3 EMZOOM boasts a fresh, dynamic design that highlights its sporty and futuristic appeal. Starting with the exterior, the new EMZOOM models feature a bold Mecha Wing grille, giving the SUV a commanding front presence. Flanked by Laser Eye Split LED headlights, this aggressive yet sleek front fascia enhances both style and visibility, ensuring the GS3 EMZOOM stands out on the road.
One of the unique design elements is the use of hidden electric door handles, which not only contribute to the SUV’s modern, streamlined silhouette but also improve aerodynamics. At the rear, the SUV is further distinguished by Light Dart tail lights, a design that adds a touch of sophistication and continuity with the vehicle’s angular, sharp styling. The new GAC GS3 EMZOOM CKD variants are competitively priced, starting at RM103,800 for the Standard, RM116,800 for the Exclusive, and RM126,800 for the top-tier Premium R. These prices are on-the-road, excluding insurance, and applicable to West Malaysia. The colour options for these models include Frost White and Asphalt Black for the Standard, while the Exclusive offers additional colours like Salt Lake Blue and Superstar Silver. The Premium R variant also comes with an exclusive Graphite Grey colour and sporty orange exterior trim.
All 2024 GAC GS3 EMZOOM variants come with a five-year, 150,000-km warranty, with the first 2,000 customers eligible for a seven-year, 180,000-km engine and transmission warranty.
To celebrate the completion of its first CKD project, WTCA has launched the “Rev Up with EMZOOM” campaign, offering promotional prices and cash rebates up to RM7,000 for the Exclusive and Premium R variants. Customers can also opt for a Complimentary Maintenance Service and Smart Watch Key bundle worth RM1,388 in lieu of lower cash rebates.
