PRISM+ Expands Malaysian Push with AI TVs, Smart Cleaning Devices and New Home Appliances

Consumer electronics brand PRISM+ has unveiled its largest product expansion in Malaysia to date, signalling a broader push beyond televisions and monitors into connected home living solutions tailored for local consumers.

At a launch event here, the company introduced its new AI TV 2026 Series alongside a range of smart home appliances, including washing solutions, robotic cleaning devices, air purification systems and a residential water pump developed specifically for Malaysian households.

The launch reflects PRISM+’s ambition to position itself as a one-stop smart home ecosystem brand in the increasingly competitive Malaysian consumer electronics market.

AI-powered TVs take centre stage

Leading the announcement was the company’s new AI TV 2026 Series, which spans three product tiers — QD Mini-LED, Ultra QLED+ and 4K UHD Google TV models.

The televisions feature AI-enhanced picture optimisation technologies designed to automatically improve brightness, contrast, colour accuracy and scene clarity in real time. Higher-end models also support gaming-focused specifications such as 120Hz refresh rates, HDMI 2.1, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM).

The flagship QD Mini-LED range is aimed at premium home entertainment users seeking improved black levels and brightness control, while the Ultra QLED+ lineup targets gamers and mainstream viewers looking for more immersive visuals. The entry-level QE series focuses on accessible everyday 4K viewing.

All models run on Google TV, offering integrated streaming, voice control and smart home connectivity.

PRISM+ is also strengthening its content partnerships in Malaysia through collaborations with streaming services including iQIYI, Viu and Durioo+. New TV buyers will receive complimentary subscription offers depending on model purchases.

Entering the smart cleaning category

Beyond entertainment, PRISM+ is entering the smart cleaning market with the launch of the EvoSonic Ultra Detect Cordless Vacuum and NanoBot Smart Robot Vacuum.

The EvoSonic vacuum features intelligent dirt detection, LED dust illumination and wet-and-dry floor cleaning functionality. It also includes pet-focused accessories designed to help remove fur during grooming sessions.

Meanwhile, the NanoBot robot vacuum combines automated vacuuming and mopping with smart mapping and app-based remote controls through the PRISM+ Connect ecosystem.

The move places PRISM+ into direct competition with established home cleaning brands as demand for automated household solutions continues to rise among urban consumers.

Products designed specifically for Malaysian homes

One of the more notable launches was the HydroThrust Water Pump, PRISM+’s first entry into residential water pressure systems.

According to the company, the pump was engineered for common Malaysian landed homes and multi-bathroom households, with emphasis on quiet operation and weather resistance suitable for tropical environments.

The HydroThrust can push water up to 36 metres while operating at approximately 29 decibels, which the company says is comparable to rustling leaves.

PRISM+ chief executive officer Jonathan Wong said the company’s expansion strategy focuses on solving practical issues faced by local households.

“We’ve always believed that good technology should make everyday life simpler, not more complicated or expensive,” he said during the launch.

“That’s why products like the HydroThrust and Arialum exist; they were designed specifically with the Malaysian home in mind, to solve real, local challenges.”

The company also introduced the Arialum Pet Air Purifier, aimed at pet-owning households. The device combines HEPA-13 filtration, activated carbon filters and UV-C sterilisation technologies to reduce airborne particles, pet odours and allergens.

Compact washer-dryer targets smaller households

Another headline product was the Spin Mini Wash & Dry, which PRISM+ described as Malaysia’s first mini washer-dryer category product.

The compact appliance is intended for delicate fabrics, baby clothing and smaller laundry loads, particularly in apartments or households requiring separate washing cycles for hygiene purposes.

Features include UV sterilisation, automatic detergent dispensing and multiple washing programmes.

The launch reflects broader trends in Southeast Asian urban living, where compact appliances are increasingly popular among apartment dwellers and smaller households.

Flexible payment plans introduced

To support adoption across its expanding product ecosystem, PRISM+ also announced “EasyOwn”, a financing initiative offering instalment plans of up to 36 months through participating banks including Maybank, Public Bank, RHB Bank and OCBC Bank.

The company said all newly announced products will be available in Malaysia starting May 22 through its official website and retail stores nationwide.

With the latest expansion, PRISM+ appears to be positioning itself not just as a display manufacturer, but as a broader smart living brand competing across multiple categories within the connected home market.
