The spirit of togetherness took centre stage as MR D.I.Y. [Malaysia] Berhad hosted its vibrant 2026 Hari Raya Open House, ‘Raya Sama Sama’, bringing together 300 guests for an evening filled with culture, connection, and celebration.

Held at the elegant Glasshouse at Seputeh, the event reflected the brand’s vision of uniting Malaysians through meaningful festive experiences. Guests were immersed in a lively atmosphere that captured the essence of Hari Raya, from traditional performances to interactive activities and a spread of beloved Raya delicacies

A key highlight of the evening was the appearance of Alif Satar alongside his band The Locos, whose energetic presence elevated the celebration. Widely recognised for his role as Izzat in MR D.I.Y.’s ‘Raya Sama Sama’ webfilm, Alif brought the campaign narrative to life, much to the delight of fans and attendees. The webfilm itself has achieved an impressive 51 million views, underscoring its strong resonance with audiences across Malaysia.

The event also celebrated the winners of the ‘Raya Sama Sama Dance Challenge’, who joined the festivities and shared the spotlight during the evening. Guests participated in a variety of engaging activities, including hands-on workshops that added a creative touch to the celebration.

As the night progressed, the energy peaked when guests, contest winners, and performers gathered on the dance floor, moving in unison to the ‘Raya Sama Sama’ theme song—an uplifting moment that perfectly captured the spirit of unity and joy synonymous with Hari Raya.
