Amari Kuala Lumpur, a proud member of the Thai-based Onyx Hospitality Group, is celebrating its heritage by teaming up with Amari Bangkok to bring an authentic Thai culinary experience to its guests. This collaboration aims to not only elevate the dining experience but also promote Thai culture within the local community.

From September 2nd to October 31st, the Amaya Food Gallery will host the ‘Flavours of Thailand’ promotion, offering a curated selection of Signature Ala Carte dishes. These dishes are designed to capture the vibrant, authentic flavors of Thailand. The collaboration between Amari Kuala Lumpur and Chomsindh, the Thai specialty restaurant from Amari Bangkok, features Michelin-starred Chef Boy (Piyachart Puttawong), who will showcase his expertise through a range of Thai Signature Ala Carte dishes.
Introducing Chef Boy
Chef Boy is well-regarded for his extensive culinary skills, which encompass both savory dishes and desserts. He is known for blending traditional Thai techniques with modern influences. In addition to his cooking prowess, Chef Boy is also talented in fruit and vegetable carving, pastry arts, and flower arrangement, giving his culinary creations an artistic touch.
For this special collaboration, Chef Boy has flown in from Bangkok to work alongside Amari Kuala Lumpur’s Executive Sous Chef Sheng (Jong Zi Sheng) and his culinary team. Together, they have adapted a series of signature dishes from Chomsindh, which will soon be added to the Amaya Food Gallery’s menu, offering diners a true taste of Thailand in Kuala Lumpur.

The chefs at Chomsindh use only the finest Thai ingredients and the freshest local produce to create dishes that embody the spirit of Thai cuisine. The restaurant itself is reminiscent of a classic Thai shophouse, adding to the overall dining experience.
The Signature Ala Carte dishes crafted for the ‘Flavours of Thailand’ promotion are more than just food—they are a reflection of Thailand’s rich culinary heritage. Chef Boy and the Amari Kuala Lumpur team have carefully curated these dishes, ensuring that they highlight quality ingredients, seasonal flavors, and contemporary techniques that elevate traditional Thai street food.
