Bonn Paramacharoenroj joins as Associate Director of Business Development – SEA, and Praree Kittidumkerng becomes Senior Graphic Designer – APAC
YOO Worldwide, the global designer residence and hospitality company, has ramped up its expansion in Southeast Asia with the appointment of two exciting young executives to its recently-launched regional head office in Bangkok.
Krongsak “Bonn” Paramacharoenroj has been named as the group’s Associate Director of Business Development – Southeast Asia, while Praree Kittidumkerng has become YOO’s Senior Graphic Designer – Asia Pacific. Both are millennials, Thai nationals and will be based at the company’s Bangkok office, reporting to Rich Millar, YOO Worldwide’s Vice President of Business Development – Asia Pacific.
“Khun Bonn and Ms Praree are both young talents who have quickly become experts in their fields. They have already gained impressive experience and shown the ability to exceed expectations. Importantly, they both have the main qualities YOO looks for in all our team members; a creative spirit and vision – the ability to think outside the box,” said Mr Millar.
“These two appointments represent the latest phase of our regional expansion in Southeast Asia. Since we opened our Bangkok office in February 2019, we have identified a series of attractive urban and resort destinations that will suit our innovative living concepts, including locations in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia and the Philippines. I look forward to revealing even more milestones in our regional expansion in the coming months,” he added.
Khun Bonn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Finance & Revenue Management from the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland. Following his graduation, he oversaw the development of two restaurants and two boutique hotels in Thailand, before joining Asia’s leading real estate and hospitality consultancy, C9 Hotelworks, where he worked closely with Bill Barnett, the company’s founder and Managing Director, on various consulting assignments for leading property developers and international hotel brands. With extensive expertise in the hotel and branded residence sectors, he will now be tasked with driving the expansion of YOO across Southeast Asia.
Khun Praree is a designer and artist with five years’ experience in San Francisco and New York. Having graduated with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Design from the California College of the Arts, she worked for several clients in the USA, Korea and Thailand, including Apple’s head office in Silicon Valley. She is now responsible for creating strong identity and marketing collaterals for YOO in Asia Pacific.
YOO Worldwide was created by leading property developer John Hitchcox and international designer Philippe Starck, with a mission to enrich lives through extraordinary living spaces. It is now the largest pure residential design brand in the world, with 81 projects in 36 countries.
Building on these strong foundations, YOO is now planning to introduce its “out of the box” concepts in destinations across Southeast Asia, one of the world’s most sought-after regions and a hot ticket for tourism and real estate developers.
