As the holy month of Ramadhan approaches, Pullman KLCC’s Sedap Restaurant invites diners to indulge in the rich and heartwarming flavors of traditional Malay cuisine with its Selera Ibunda Ramadhan Buffet. This year, the buffet promises a vibrant bazaar-like atmosphere at the hotel driveway, where an array of tantalizing dishes awaits.

A Feast of Local Delights

Among the highlights of this year’s buffet is the introduction of venison, a tender and flavorful meat that pairs perfectly with the aromatic spices used by the chefs. The freshwater prawn dishes are equally impressive, boasting a natural sweetness that is enhanced by rich gravies and sambals. Another must-try is the lamb shank, slow-cooked to perfection, offering a melt-in-the-mouth experience with deep, robust flavors.

For those who enjoy a touch of nostalgia, the buffet also features colek-colek, a traditional Malay-style appetizer with an array of fresh fruits and deep-fried treats paired with sweet and tangy dipping sauces. However, the true star of the night is the whole roasted lamb, an absolute must-have, where the crispy outer layer contrasts beautifully with the succulent and juicy meat inside.

Live Cooking Stations: A Dynamic Experience

One of the most exciting aspects of the Selera Ibunda Ramadhan Buffet is its numerous live cooking stalls. Each station is manned by skilled chefs preparing beloved local street food, ensuring that every bite is fresh and flavorful.

Pai Tee & Popiah – These bite-sized delights are both crispy and savory, filled with a medley of fresh vegetables and flavorsome sauces.
Apam Balik – A crowd favorite, these fluffy pancakes are generously filled with crushed peanuts and sweet corn, offering a perfect balance of crunch and chewiness.
Fried Kuey Teow & Noodles – Stir-fried on a sizzling hot wok, these dishes are packed with smoky flavors, complemented by fresh seafood and vegetables.
Sup Gear Box – A must-try for soup lovers, this rich and hearty broth is infused with spices and slow-cooked to extract the deep flavors of the bone marrow.
Satay – Skewered and grilled to perfection, these satays come with a side of creamy, nutty peanut sauce that enhances every bite.
ABC (Ais Batu Campur) – A refreshing and colorful dessert, this icy treat is topped with syrup, evaporated milk, and an assortment of jelly, red beans, and sweet corn, making it a delightful end to a satisfying meal.

The Selera Ibunda Ramadhan Buffet will be available from 4th March to 28th March 2025, running daily from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Early bird pricing is RM 188 nett per adult (normal price: RM 268) and RM 94 nett per child (normal price: RM 134).
