As same as our Kayu mamak chain restaurant, Jakarta also have a famous Indonesian’s foods chain restaurant; Sari Ratu who serve authentic Indonesia cuisine has opened up a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur.
Located in G Village Ampang, Sari Ratu specializes in Nasi Padang, the cuisine of the Minangkabau people of Sumatra, presented in a clean and comfortable setting where the focus is on quality, authenticity, hygiene and good service.
The selection of dishes here is appetizingly displayed in a clean, well-lit glass case. Besides the more familiar Rendang and Ayam Goreng, there’s Ikan Nila Goreng (fried tilapia), Ayam Pop (chicken steamed, then fried) and GulaiTunjang (curried beef tendon). For dessert try Es Teler, an Indonesian version of ABC.
P/s: There are many Sari Ratu available around Kuala Lumpur too but it is not owned by the owner of Sari Ratu Indonesia.
