Do you know that A&W is the oldest fast food chain store in Malaysia? Yes right before other fast food chains such as KFC and McDonalds.
For more than half a century, A& W has etched itself into the hearts of Malaysians with its famed and distinguished RootBeers, floats, burgers, ice creams waffles and its beloved mascot, Rooty the Great Root Bear. In time with its centennial anniversary worldwide this year, A&W will be expanding their reach out starting from this year through opening more outlet and a fresh new look.
Earlier this week, A&W has opened up its 47th outlet in the country at EkoCheras Mall.
The announcement came following an event which was attended by up-and-coming Malaysian singer-actress, Ms. Nabila Razali, as well as CEO of A&W Malaysia, Mr. George Ang and Mr. David Lee, Director of Supply Chain and Technical.
Inconjuction with it’s 47th outlet opening, A&W are offering free Limited Edition Collectors Mug for RM 29.90 or RM 35.90 (for Gold Plated) with every purchase over RM 25. Limited to the first 5000 customers only.
Along with this brand rejuvenation, A&W Malaysia’s parent company, Inter Mark Resources Sdn Bhd has massive expansion plans on the cards, with plans to increase the number of restaurants in the country to 60 by end of 2019 and 100 by the end of 2021.
