Paya Serai, Hilton Petaling Jaya’s all-day dining restaurant has recently relaunched with a new look. During the month of October, Paya Serai has launched its Crustacean Carnival (available on weekday lunch and dinner as well as weekend high-tea) which serves fresh locally sourced shell fish daily.
The buffet features a variety of shell fish cooked in authentic Malay, Indian, Western and Chinese styles of live cooking stations.
The Malay shell fish dishes includes Sedut Siput Masam Manis, Lala Masak Belado Hijau, Udang Sambal Petai, Kerang Masak Lemak, Udang Lipan Masak Tomato, Ketam Masak Lemak Nenas Cili Padi, Lokam Bakar Berempah and Siput Buluh Bercili. For Chinese menu, it comprises Butter Oat Prawns, Stir Fried Clams Kam Heong Sauce, Seafood Black Bean Fried Rice, Stir Fried Squid with Dried Chilli and Black Pepper Mussels.
Indians selection features the curry and spices with dishes like Crab Masala, Prawn Curry and Squid Pakoras. As for the Western dishes, they serves comfort food such as Crab Ragout, Crustacean Lasagne, Seafood Paella and Stuffed Potato with Seafood Marinara.
They also offers fresh shell seafoods in their Seafood on Ice Station where they serves Black Lips Mussels, Green Mussels, Poached Tiger Prawns, Fresh Oysters, Slipper Lobsters and Yabbies.
