Ushering the holy Ramadhan month, Furama Bukit Bintang’s culinary team has put together a scrumptious buffet spread of authentic local Malaysian cuisines at its Spices Restaurant. Themed “Selera Ramadhan”, the team has decided to give the buffet spread a contemporary twist by including the current all-time favourite drink; bubble tea of fondly known as “boba”.
Flavours include Boba Syrup Bandung, Kurma Milk Boba, Teh Tarik Boba, Cendol Boba and the all-time favourite Milk & Gula Melaka Boba and Chocolate Boba. To enlighten more the Ramadhan mood, there will also be a “pelita” lighting ceremony to kick off each evening starting from 1st May 2020.
In the buffet spread, Spice Restaurant will be highlighting authentic Malay dishes from the basic appetizers of Ulam, Sambal and Kerabu to main courses of Nasi Hujan Panas, Kambing Tumins Hitam Ala Mamak, Udang Sambal Berpetai and many more. A must have during fast=breaking is the Bubur Lambuk together with Lemang, Rendang and Sup Berempah Ayam & Ekor.
Spice Restaurant also offers an outdoor grill section or in Malay language; Langsung Dari Pemangang serving Furama’s Signature Grill Lamb or Kambing Bakar Istimewa. Grilled food lovers can also look forward to grilled beef, chicken, fish, mussels and not forgetting the local favourite; Satay.
And of course not forgetting about Malay desserts, there will also be a wide selection of local desserts such as Kuih Bakar Kemboja, Kuih Talam Pandan, Kuih Kasui, Kuih Bingka Ubi, Kuih Bengkang, Kuih Talam Sagu, Pulut Panggang, Badan Berendam, Lompat Tikam, Ice Kacang and Pengat Durian.
Spices @ Furama Bukit Bintang’s “Selera Ramadhan” buffet starts from 1st May 2020 on weekends only (Fri – Sunday) is prices from RM 68 nett per adult (purchase before 30th April 2020) or RM 98 nett per adult and RM 55 nett per senior citizens and RM 45 netter per children age 4-12 years old.
