Emirates has unveiled its award-winning Premium Economy experience for Malaysian travellers, with the introduction of its newly retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft on the Kuala Lumpur–Dubai route. The upgraded aircraft, deployed on flights EK346 and EK347, features refreshed interiors across all four cabins, setting a new standard of comfort and choice for passengers.
This launch marks part of Emirates’ ongoing multi-billion-dollar retrofit programme, which aims to deliver a consistent and enhanced travel experience across its global network. Kuala Lumpur joins nearly 70 destinations now offering the signature Premium Economy cabin, further strengthening Emirates’ presence in Malaysia, a key market it has served for almost three decades.
Flight EK346 departs Dubai at 3:10hrs and lands in Kuala Lumpur at 14:25hrs, while the return service EK347 departs Kuala Lumpur at 19:10hrs and arrives in Dubai at 22:10hrs. All times are local.

Passengers flying Premium Economy between Kuala Lumpur and Dubai can look forward to plush seating with generous legroom, elevated dining experiences, and exclusive beverages. Meals are served on Royal Doulton fine china with stainless-steel cutlery wrapped in linen, accompanied by premium wines and crafted drinks. The refined cabin also features woodgrain dining tables that fold seamlessly into the seat, giving travellers a blend of comfort, privacy, and sophistication.
“Malaysia has been a key market for Emirates for nearly three decades. We are proud to introduce our latest generation and award-winning Premium Economy along with refreshed First, Business and Economy cabins to our travellers,” said Saeed Mubarak, Country Manager Emirates in Malaysia. “The new interiors bring more comfort and more choice, ensuring every passenger enjoys a seamless and consistent journey, no matter how they choose to fly. It’s a reflection of our continued investment and sets us apart in the industry by offering a redefined travel experience for millions of passengers worldwide.”
Emirates’ retrofit programme, one of the largest in aviation, will refurbish 219 aircraft in total. To date, 67 aircraft have been upgraded, with the airline targeting nearly 2 million Premium Economy seats annually by the end of 2025, doubling to 4 million by 2026.
Premium Economy passengers also benefit from a generous 35kg checked baggage allowance, plus 10kg of carry-on baggage. Bookings for the Premium Economy experience are now open via emirates.com
