Last 16th March, Anchor Food Professionals is once again doing their bid to raise the benchmark in the pastry and culinary industry by hosting a highly anticipated Anchor Food Professional Pastry & Culinary Challenge 2018.
The four day competition starts from 13 to 16 March is based on three categories namely Culinary, Cake and Pastries maestros have been invited to form the luminary panel of judges in the Pastry Category; Chef Jean Francois Arnaud MOF serving as the Head Judge in Pastry Category, along with Chef Nazeri Ismail, and Chef Arthur Heng.
Linda Tan, Director of Anchor Food Professionals shared that competitions like this are important for the industry as it provides a platform fort he sharing of experience and knowledge, nurturing the potential of Malaysia’s future culinary and pastry artisan and elevating the standards of the food & beverage industry.
The participants of the competition are required to make full use of Anchor’s leading products in the diary segment namely Anchor Cream Cheese, Anchor Butter Sheet, Anchor Butter, Anchor UHT Milk, Anchor Whipping Cream and Anchor Extra Yield Cooking Cream.
There are 7 finalist competing in this Challenge in the Pastry Category.
The first prize won by Gan Terk Yong includes prizes worth RM 5,000, a medal and certificate, second price won by Nyon Pei Shan includes prize worth RM 3,000, a medal and certificate and finally, third place won by Tan Shong Yee includes prizes worth RM 2,000, a medal and certificate.
